Essay: "Who Is the Real Enemy"

Essay: "Who Is the 'Real Enemy'?"

Some would say the "enemy" are the terrorists, others would say criminals or illicit drugs, some misguided souls consider 'bleeding heart' Liberals to be the "enemy". I would argue that the real enemy, at least of the Common Man, is the American politician, particularly of the Tea Party or Extreme Right-Wing of the Republican Party. With severe and ruthless cuts to services, tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires who neither need nor deserve them, an unfair and unjust distribution of wealth, scheming to repeal a health care law which actually does something about abuses by the health insurance industry and lack or nonexistent coverage for millions of Americans, endless war, an exorbitant and pretty much pointless endless war(s) policy and erosion of our collective rights, not to mention the demise of the American Dream and the emaciated Middle Class, among many other factors, with friends like the Tea Party and the Extreme Hard Right, who needs enemies?... (tbc?)
